London Libraries has been awarded funding from the Mayor of London and The National Lottery Community Fund, to bring Loved and Wanted Here events to life for our wonderfully diverse local communities over the next two years. Libraries across London offer activities that are free and open to all.
London Libraries and The Loved and Wanted Here Campaign
London Libraries are places where people can connect, learn, and feel truly at home. With this new support, we’ll be able to develop information sheets in multiple languages, organise information days with different partners and deliver creative activities.
London Libraries will participate in Loved and Wanted Here making our library spaces even more welcoming and accessible to everyone who walks through our doors.
The 'Quilt of Welcome' tour
The Libraries will tour the ‘Quilt of Welcome’ starting from April 2026.
